Debbie Mauerman will be my head teacher. She has taught in China before this semester and she seems very willing to help me understand what is going on. To be honest, I am a little nervous about being in a totally different country, so it is very comforting to have someone around that has experienced it before. I can hardly wait to meet her and I am ready to learn what I can from her and this experience as a whole.
The other girls I will be teaching with include Katie Horrocks, Tiann Post, Kristy Dabb, Andrea Wirthlin, Kate Bennion and Candice Rogers. I have been able to talk to most of them and some more than others. I expect we will get a long pretty well and I can hardly wait to teach with each of them.
I really think that I may make some lifetime friends through this adventure. I will be spending all my time with these girls: traveling, teaching, experiencing new things, learning, growing. Not to pick any favorites, I have just been able to talk more with Kristy Dabb and I think her and I will become friends very quickly. It will be interesting to see how everything turns out.
